The Peace Gardens Straddling
the U.S. - Canadian border of North Dakota and Manitoba
is one of the greatest symbols of peace: The International Peace
Garden. Each year, more than 150,000 people from around the
world visit the park to enjoy its colorful gardens, landscapes and
wilderness areas.

Bottineau Winter Park
Bottineau Winter Park offers a wide variety of terrain from
the beginner's Southside area to ungroomed expert glade runs and
race courses, with skiing and riding for all abilities at very
affordable prices. Five lifts will speed you to the top to choose
from 9 trails while you take in the views of the Turtle Mountain
Region.

Lake Metigoshe State Park is
located 14 miles northeast of Bottineau, ND, along the U.S./Canadian
border. The Chippewa called the lake "Metigoshe Washegum," or
"clear water lake surrounded by oaks." Today, the lake is noted for
its northern pike, walleye and perch.
